For Your Spirit
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by
faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the
hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our
sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does
not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our
hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us." Romans 5:1-5

"Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in
whose
spirit is no deceit." Psalm 32:1-2
Words From
Gladys...
Today I read the book of Hosea...which is possibly my least favorite
book of the Bible because it is about judgment. Since I have
read the Bible through every year for the past 32 years, I have read
this book many times. Yet today a "jewel" jumped out at me.
No matter how many times we read God's Word, it is always new food
for us. This jewel is in the last chapter, verse 3, where the
prophet is talking about warfare, and says, "we will not ride
horses." The thought is that we will WALK. So many of us
want to rush through life's experiences, when God says "walk."
"The STEPS of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord." (Ps. 37:23)
And again Hosea 14:9... "For the ways of the Lord are right; The
righteous WALK in them." The reason? We learn so much
more when we walk, even when it's hard and we would like to rush
through. Learn to walk in the path He leads you.
THE LORD BLESS YOU....
May you carry the glow of His presence with you. May He meet every need in
your life. May He provide you richly with the abundance of His blessings.
May the Holy Spirit be your
Helper who comes alongside of you and ministers to you the things that are of
God, for those things do not ever pass away.
May you walk in glorious
victory and may there not be those days when you say, "It's dark today."
But, may there always be the Light of Christ shining in you and through you.
AMEN.

1. Why should I say I can't when the Bible says
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Phil 4:13
2. Why should I lack when I know that God shall
supply all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phil
4:19
3. Why should I fear when the Bible says God has
not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. 2
Tim. 1:7
4. Why should I lack faith to fulfill my calling
knowing that God has allotted to me a measure of faith. Romans 12:3
5. Why should I be weak when the Bible says that
the Lord is the strength of my life and that I will display strength and
take action because I know God. Psalm 27:1, Daniel 11:32 |
