The Lord placed it on our hearts to begin AndyBooks Outreach over two years ago. Though we are involved in helping several ministries and missionaries, our main project is our involvement with R. Solomon Raj (pictured second from right front row above), a pastor and teacher of the Word in South India.  Pastor Raj oversees many local churches in his area of India. 

Our involvement began in August of 2002 when the village of Golla Mandala Thanda, one of Solomon's villages, was burned to the ground by anti-Christian terrorists and their Bibles were taken.  The Lord used us to help rebuild that village and since then we have taken on many projects along with Pastor Raj. 

These include distributing hundreds of Bibles and thousands of tracts, purchasing blankets and other necessities for the old-aged, and taking on the care of ten widows and ten orphans.

AndyBooks receives many requests for catalogs from prisoners across the U.S.  They hear about us through RESTORE! magazine, as Dr. Garr distributes his magazines throughout the prison system.  The Lord has called us to stay in contact with them if they show an honest desire to learn the Word.  We now have five faithful men who correspond with us, who are learning Hebrew, and who are leading Bible studies in their prisons with the materials we have donated.  We give as we are able and can always use help in purchasing materials.  Praise God!  Amy McJannet is our official correspondent and she heads this ministry.  If you would like more information, please contact her at amcjannet@andybooks.com.

Widow's Might

The Lord clearly calls the church to take care of widows and orphans.  We know several widows who have no source of help from family or church for one reason or another.  The Lord has clearly given us instruction to help those he puts in our path.  So far we have been able to help ten widows under Pastor Solomon Raj's care in India (three pictured below), and one here in the U.S.  The Lord has provided clothing, food and shelter, and Scriptures for these dear ones through our humble outreach.  We do not know what the Lord has in mind for this ministry, but we are eager to find out!  If you are interested in hearing how you can pray for or help with Widow's Might, please click here to visit the AB Outreach website.
